Last year we joined forces with young reporters from Media Cubs pop-up TV studio and newsroom to give them the opportunity to ask big questions to members of our team.

Young reporters from age seven up to 18 have been busy in the newsroom and already conducted interviews with Bev Hughes, Greater Manchester’s Deputy Mayor for Policing, Crime, Criminal Justice and Fire, Dan Diamond, the VRUs Partnership Lead, Superintendent Chris Downey, at the time the VRUs Police Lead, and Damian Dallimore, VRU Director.

Today it is the turn of Sushma Parmar, VRU Probation Lead, and Paul Axon, VRU Youth Justice Lead…!

For this interview, Media Cubs teamed up with young people from 84YOUTH, a youth-led organisation that aims to deal with the causes of youth violence, to find out more about how the criminal justice system works, and what is being done to tackle unconscious bias.
