StreetDoctors and Saatchi & Saatchi have launched The Fatal Question, a powerful campaign challenging the dangerous belief that it’s possible to stab someone without risking their life.
With knife crime rising by 81% over the past decade, the campaign invites young people to engage with a life-sized interactive sculpture, guessing which body parts could survive a stab wound. Each guess triggers real-life stories of young victims, like Damilola Taylor, Joshua Ribera, and Ava White, who tragically died from single stab wounds.
The experience is captured in a three minute film, shown across major UK cities and youth venues, and supported by StreetDoctors’ workshops teaching life-saving first aid and violence prevention.
An interactive online version of the installation is also available, offering educators tools to help young people understand the real consequences of knife crime.
“If one young person walks away questioning what they thought they knew, we’ve done something important.” – Franki Goodwin, Saatchi & Saatchi
“Education is one of the most powerful tools we have to prevent street violence.” – Martin Tilbury MBE, StreetDoctors
